About me
Chelsea Alley is a Utah native and is deeply dedicated to the performing arts. She holds a Dance Education degree from BYU, along with a 200-hour Yoga Instructor Certification, and is beginning Masters degree in Theatre this year. Chelsea is the Director of Dance at Orem High School, where she directs both Orem Dance Company and Orem Ballroom Team, and choreographs/co-directs the school musicals. She has previously served on the UDEO Board, presented at the NDEO Conference, and has helped develop state-wide dance standards and curriculum. She currently serves on the Orem High Leadership Team and the Alpine District Performing Arts Council. Her award-winning choreographic work has been recognized with the Algie Balliff Choreography Award, along with superior ratings throughout her career, and six 1st place wins at the Utah Shakespeare Competition. Chelsea adores her students and is profoundly honored to work with them. It has been her greatest joy to help them explore the performing arts’ ability to cultivate empathy, expression, and unity in the human experience.
